Question: Is it true that Michael Cleveland played fiddle on Misty's
new CD project?
Answer: Yes! Micheal is on almost every track. Also featured are
the multi-talented Jeff Guernsey, Lynn Manzenberger,
Ron Shields, Brian Leaver, Mike Curtis, Brian Straub, and last
but certainly not least, fiddler and producer Richard Torstrick. Oh yeah,
and Misty Stevens! :-)
Question: Where can I see Misty and the band play?
Answer: Check the website for our show schedule. We will be booking shows farther
away, and listing them on our schedule as they are booked.
Question: Can I book the band for a private event?
Answer: Absolutely! Pricing depends on how long we play and how
far we travel, but is always negotiable. We do weddings,
parties, fairs, Churches, and Misty has even done funerals!
Question: What instrument does Misty play in the band?
Answer: She plays a 1995 MARTIN HD-28 guitar. She also owns a MARTIN-DR
signed by country legend George Jones. She can also play piano, mandolin,
(a little) and electric bass.
Question: Who were Misty's musical influences?
Answer: My Granny (taught me 3 chords on the piano when I was about 5yrs old,
and never griped about the rackett!). Bubby, (my uncle who still has recordings
of me singing at 4/5 years old, and taught me my first guitar chords, despite
being disabled with severe epilepsy), My Momma (taught me how to hear/sing
harmony) Fred Weineger, (when I was little he gave me $1 every time I sang
a song at church, wish I'd saved them!), My church family down through the
years (at Burgoon-Friendship Baptist Church), Lori Pedigo (I loved her
piano playing!), SONYA ISAACS, RICKY SKAGGS, ALISON KRAUSS,
HEE HAW! (back when country music was country!)

Answer: The Isaacs, The Grascals, Cherryholmes, Dailey & Vincent, Ricky Skaggs,
Del McCurry, Michael Cleveland & The Flamekeepers, Bill Monroe (of course),
Karl Shiflett & Big Country Show, Lonesome River Band, IIIRD Time Out,
